# Azure Functions & Logic Apps and Event Grid

## Serverless

* Azure Functions
* Logic Apps
* Event grid

**Note:** There are servers but they are hidden from you. These are configurable but not programmable

## Azure functions:

* 1 MILLION function executions per month are free
* Used for small code deployment where you don't require a server to run this
* Fast and easy to set up
* Can be really cheap
* Different payment plans

## Azure Logic Apps:

* Logic apps are a Workflow service:
  * Example:
    * Step 1: do this
    * Step 2: do that
    * Step 3: ?
    * Step 4: profit
  * Can use if/else statements or if this then that...
* First time you do this it will redirect you in the "Logic Apps Designer"
* Charged on number of Executions as well
